  2. Legal assessment: Documents are reviewed, and the available legal remedies, time limits, possible risks and estimated costs are explained clearly.
  3. Engagement agreement: Before any work is undertaken, the scope of the service and the fee are set out in a written engagement agreement.
  4. Case management: Each matter is followed with statutory time limits in mind, and the client is kept regularly informed of significant developments and decisions to be made.

You can submit a meeting request via the Appointment page.

Our Office's Principles

Our office's approach is based on the principles set out in Attorneys' Act No. 1136 and the Professional Rules of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations. Under Article 1 of the Act, the practice of law is a public service and a liberal profession; the lawyer represents independent defence, which is a constituent element of the judiciary.

  • Independence: Matters are handled independently of all persons and institutions, including public authorities, bound only by the law and the rules of the profession.
  • Confidentiality: Information and documents learned in the course of legal work are kept confidential in accordance with Article 36 of the Attorneys' Act. This obligation continues after the mandate has ended.
  • Diligence, integrity and honour: Work undertaken is carried out with the diligence, integrity and honour required by the duty, as provided in Article 34 of the Act.
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest: A matter is not accepted where the office has represented or advised a party with opposing interests in the same matter (Attorneys' Act Art. 38). A conflict-of-interest check is therefore carried out first for every new enquiry.
  • Clear and realistic information: Clients are informed in plain language about their legal position, the possible risks and the stages of the process. No undertaking is given as to the outcome of a case.
  • Transparency on fees: The scope of the legal services and the fee are set out clearly in a written engagement agreement before any work is undertaken. Fees are agreed in accordance with the Attorneys' Act and the Minimum Attorney Fee Tariff.
  • Rule of law and respect for justice: As stated in Article 2 of the Act, the purpose of the legal profession is to contribute to resolving disputes in accordance with justice and equity and to the full application of the rules of law.
  • Protection of personal data: Personal data of clients and applicants are processed and protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.
  • Presentation in line with professional rules: This website has been prepared for information purposes only, within the framework of Article 55 of the Attorneys' Act and the Advertising Ban Regulation of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations; it is not intended as promotion for the purpose of obtaining work.
