Appointment Request

Legal consultations with a lawyer are subject to a fee by law, whether held in person, by telephone or online.

• Under Article 164 of the Attorneys' Act No. 1136, the attorney's fee is the consideration for the attorney's legal assistance. Oral consultation is a form of legal assistance.
• Under the same article, attorneys' fees may not be agreed below the Minimum Attorney Fee Tariff set annually by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and published in the Official Gazette. The Tariff also sets minimum fees for oral consultations at the office, by telephone or on call.
• Under professional rules and the Union of Turkish Bar Associations' Regulation on the Prohibition of Advertising, lawyers are prohibited from offering free services in order to obtain work.

The consultation fee is determined on the basis of the Tariff in force, taking into account the subject and duration of the consultation, and will be communicated to you separately before the consultation when your request is reviewed. Payment details will also be provided at that stage.

Submitting an appointment request does not create any payment obligation. A fee arises only if you accept the notified fee and the consultation takes place.

Persons who cannot afford attorneys' fees and court costs may apply to the legal aid office of the local bar association under Articles 176 et seq. of the Attorneys' Act.
